We have a family of six with four children about the same age and this tent was great for us. My husband and I had a queen size mattress in the section divided off, so the photo of the inside of the tent is showing the remainder of the tent not including that divided section. The tent is so tall that I had to stand on my tiptoes to hook a tent divider up and I am 5 foot seven. We had the option of keeping the rain fly off and looking up at the stars through the mesh roof, but when it got cold we put on the rain fly and turned on a tent heater since the night was in the 30s or below. There was plenty of room for our for children to spread out without being on top of each other. We loved the idea that we could have a tent large enough to pull chairs inside and eat inside if the weather turned on us. Setting up the tent was pretty easy for my husband and I. We just follow the instructions. The polls are color-coded with these attached plastic joints. Anyone following the instructions should be able to put this tent together quickly. We loved it!

Ended up sending the wrong tent but we contacted Core. They asked that we send pictures and they'll get the correct one to us ASAP and send a shipping label for this one to go back. Will update this review accordingly.UPDATE:Core sent the correct tent and it arrived in about 3 days, just in time for our Cub Scout camping trip.Tents great! Plenty of space for my wife, daughter and I. Seems like it'll be a great tent for many camping trips to come.

The rainfly is nice and taut except over the two short walls. There, the clips don't hold the fly tightly enough which allows rain to begin pooling. And once it starts, the weight lets causes more slack and a bigger puddle. I had my guy lines tied (I thought) tight enough but not quite. Good thing is, the sides are low enough that you can reach up and dump the water manually. Next time I'm going to grab some pool noodles and put them up between the netting and rainfly on each end.Having owned both this 12 person and their pop up 12 person I'd say I still prefer this one over the pop up even with this serious design flaw.

interesting designed tent. It looks great from the outside and spacious inside. Great tent to hang out if you are tired of being in enclosed environment like being indoors in the house. Get outside and enjoy natural air. I would have given them 5 stars but I had to rate it under five due to following reasons; No instructional manual, directions or guide, no instructional video on YouTube or from this company other than a video that shows you to put the orange, gray poles across. I had to figure things on my own. there is a pole that goes in the front and just don't know where it goes. I was able to put it up anyways. Can this tent house 12 people has claimed, I do not think so. It could house maximum of 8 people except if all the campers are tiny in size. Is the tent worth the price - not at all. I think the 12 person tent is a sell that makes the price. Would I recommend this tent, yes if you don't mind the price and you know how to put a tent without instructions. If you search for instruction video, you will not find any. It rained today the 4/9/2020 and it is water proof and stands against wind. This is great tent and beautiful wish I can post pictures. So I am going to change my rating to 5 stars, at first I was scared it wont stand the wind and rain, so it exceeded my expectation. They still need to put out instructional video though.

First off, the storage bag is a little heavy but don’t let that deter you. This tent was amazing for our family of 4. Assembly was not difficult - took my husband and I maybe 15 minutes to put together. Very spacious which allowed for 2 queen sizes air mattresses to go side-by-side (width of tent) and another 2 on the other side, if desired. It rained for a solid hour and the inside of the tent stayed perfectly dry. We haven’t had strong winds so I cannot comment on that. I purchased this tent because my husband is 6’3” and I didn’t want him to have to stoop over while in the tent but the overall amount room is unbelievable.

Easy to put together. I put a black tarp over the top to darken it down. i am not sure why tent makers do not make their rain flys black. Stop with the light color materials. Tent are made for sleeping, not sun rooms. If someone wants sun they go outside the tent or take the rainfly off. All tents should be dark. I wish it had a real tent door like some of the new tent makers. It sort of has the design of one, but in the back of the tent which is dumb. The only real point of failure here is the longer top side steel supports. They are already bending after being up for three days. That is sad. The tent did hold up well under a pretty hard rain for two days which was also good. Overall with a few design changes this would be an awesome tent.

We used this tent for my spouse, myself, our 3 kids and our dog and we had plenty of space! My husband is 6' and could easily stand up. We fit 1 queen and 3 twin mattresses plus a dog bed and a small camp table. Plus luggage. I didnt like how the front door works, its like being birthed when you come in or out. At least if you're tall it is! Im 5'4 and occasionally struggled but you get the hang of it. Just be sure you close all 3 zippers to the front door!!My complaint!! When taking the tent down to pack for home, one of the roof support poles (main pole going corner to corner across roof) broke. The pole itself isnt, but the cord inside broke against the sharpness of the pole. So tent is effectively useless at this moment.Everything else is your typical tent. Easy up, easy down and it kept us dry in the rain storms.Hopefully the pole can be replaced by the company and we can use this for many more family camping trips

Used twice and love waking up and being able to wake up and stretch before heading out of the tent. Very roomy, its huge! Could probably fit 4 queen air mattresses inside. Material seems light, but appears to hold up well. Easy enough to set up and takedown with 2 people. It has also fit back into the bag every time we put it away without difficulty (bonus points!)

I'm not sure who I need to contact about this item. Yesterday afternoon I set it up like I always do my new tents. To check all the pole and the tent itself. It was up for maybe two hours and we had the slightest gust of wind, a pole broke and the tent got cut open. I understand if it was up in a huge storm, but the wind was so light. I even have a screen shot of our weather moment after it happened to prove it was not windy at all where we live. I'm hoping I can get in contact with someone about this for the tent was not cheap and we haven't even used it yet.

I only set up tent once to make sure things were ok (got a "like new" one at discount but had holes so going to return). Still based on my quick look...It is really nice, wide, opened, and comfortable inside. Plenty of space to fit 4 queen size air mattress. Rough estimate of the height of the legs are probably about 5 to 5.5 feet (I am not that tall) but still feel plenty high at the edges inside (coming from dome tent where edges are way less than that). The down sizes are: is pretty heavy tent, takes a bit of work to set it up, and definitely want tie down top of tent (as shown in product pictures). Should be a lot smoother after a couple times and things are color coded but definitely lot longer compared to my old dome tent. There was a bit of wind but nothing I would had been concerned with a dome tent and even that was blowing this tent around a bit.Overall, I think the extra comfort would be well worth it (especially on longer trips). Too bad "like new" isn't working for me this time...

This tent was super easy to set up. It might have taken 15, 20 mins at the most with just 2 of us. It was very roomy, we fit 1 portable hammock (reaches about 11' long), 3 adult sized cots, a kerosene heater for warmth, then we also had 3 camp chairs and a small round table at one point in the tent. Without the chairs and table, there is enough room to add a 4th cot and still be comfortable for space.Downsides........the first night we set the tent up (we like to do a trail run for set up and seal the seams), it got super windy with gusts around 50 mph. The wind gusts ended up uprooting the tent stakes and stretching a couple of the aluminium "o" rings. Needless to say, we replaced with rings with heavy duty titaniums ones (in the 4 corners to start with) and the stakes got replaced with heavy duty 12" forged steel tent stakes. The front door is a little misleading. Looking at it, I thought the door was shaped like a sideways H. Its not. It is shaped like an upside down T. Its okay, just makes things a little awkward especially considering the back door is a "D".Overall, the tent was a very good purchase. Just make sure to "upgrade" the rings and stakes if you are planning to go somewhere that could get some nice wind gusts.

Can't speak to water-resistance and durability yet, but I can say that it was easy to assemble. On a scale of 1 to 10, I'd give the instructions a 7 because they could have done a much better job illustrating the connection points. That aside, I really like how the poles are color-coded with the pockets into which they slide and how that same color-coding also extends to the connection points.I also bought the corresponding footprint. Found it to be a huge waste of money. It's a rectangle for elastic straps for each of the four corner poles, and none for the four additional poles in the center. The elastic stretches and the overall result is disappointing to say the least, especially given the outrageous cost. Despite my pleasure with the tent, it soured me on the company.

So easy to assemble! We have taken this camping several times now and have had no issues setting it up or taking it down. Had a torrential downpour last time we went camping. Stayed dry! This is a great tent!

This thing is massive. However is is super easy to assemble, one person can do other than rainfly, definitely need two people for that. The straight wall design allows you to maximize every inch of the floor space, and the height is excellent as well I'm 6' tall can walk around every corner.During first use, had a night with gusty wind and rain, zero leaks and held up well. Airflow is good on this tent making it very nice for summer camping, but it doesn't hold in heat as well. (Using a little buddy heater). Fixed that with a little outside the box enginuity. (Clipped in a mylar emergency blanket along ceiling to radiate heat back in.If I had a complaint about this tent it would only be the doors, don't much care for the "T" design, prefer the swing styles used by other manufacturers, and also it could use another power port.Otherwise you will be the envy of the camp site.

Haven't gone camping with it yet but I did set it up by myself in the backyard; it took me 45 minutes to unpack - read directions - setup. Its big, I put a California King air bed inside to see what sort of room we'd have and there is plenty room around it as well as on the end of the tent. We'll see how it goes actually camping and how it holds up in the rain / wind.
This was an easy-going setup and an easier take down. Tons of space.

I haven't been camping since I was a kid and my parents had a fifth wheel so I am by no means an experienced camper. Last minute we needed a tent and I decided on this one. We are a family of 5 with most being around 6ft tall I didn't want them hunching or crawling around in a tent all weekend. This tent is amazing. The color coded poles made it simple to assemble. Took about 15 mins to set up tent and inside completely set up with beds table and chairs in 45 mins total. Breakdown was the same amount of time. I can't complain about that! We packed up fast than the ppl with RVs. It was having a tiny house. We had a king bed, a full bed, a six foot table and 3 camping chairs with plenty of extra room. It only comes with one interior wall and it is pretty see through. Now it didn't rain so I can't review it for water resistance but I did use a tarp both under and inside the tent to protect the floor and under those the ground was very wet. I do suggest doing so for longevity. Makes it easy to clean as well. Just roll the dirt up in the tarp and pull it out. I do feel when the sun was out it got extremely hot and at night it didn't hold an ounce of that heat. So prepare for all temperatures. No serious issues with the zippers. Overall I would recommend.

This was my families 1st camping trip. We decided to purchase this tent after several other purchases. Not only did we receive many compliments on our setup, campers wanted to know the name of the company and where we purchased it. The setup was easy and took about 10 mins to fully assemble the tent (for a 1st timer, that ain't bad!). So it doesn't matter if you are a 1st time camper or an experience one, you will love this tent.

I purchased this tent for my Family of 4...is it overkill? yes. Is it Amazing? 100%We packed a Queen mattress and 2 twins inside and had PLENTY of room to sit, walk, and play games inside.I am 6 Foot tall and had plenty of head room as well.Setup and take-down was fairly simple. no issues there. we had very mild weather, so I can't really comment on how waterproof or wind resistant it was, or how warm it'll stay on a cool night.but seriously, I was sick of our old "10 person" tent...there just wasn't enough room for the family and the overpacking my wife does. with this one, we had plenty of space. like, we could easily spend a day in the tent without an issue if it was raining.my ONLY issue with it is the door zipper gets caught sometimes. not every time, but enough to be a little problem.

Great buy! This tent has been up for some time during summer storms and high winds, if secured properly this tent will last, I coated the outside and added a tarp with overhang, the only negative thing about this is in high winds with just the rainfly light mist of water will make it through above the doors, although this was a crazy storm. Very happy I spent a few more dollars and got this, very roomy! Word of advice: take a standard wax candle and apply to zippers for easy glide with less resistance.

I didn’t have high hopes for setting up this tent but honestly it was incredibly easy. It took a few minutes to figure out but I imagine 2 people could have it up and running in 20 minutes after you figure it out. Take down takes the same amount of time. The material is thin. This is just fine for Texas summers but probably not suitable for harsher weather. The flooring is slightly thicker but also pretty thin. You will need a tarp or something underneath the tent.We fit in: a queen inflatable mattress, 2 twin mattresses, and a 3x3 foot pack n play with plenty of room for standing and walking. The entrance/exit zipper was my biggest gripe. It constantly gets snagged. As others have stated, you must upgrade the stakes. The tent catches wind easily and the OEM stakes aren’t suitable even for a light breeze.

This tent was very easy to put up and take down. It's so similar to our previous Columbia tent, it took me & two 13-year old girls about 15 minutes to put up the first time. The size was what I expected. We had 2 queen air mattresses & 1 twin air mattress in the tent. We would have been able to fit another twin in there as well.We had sprinkles, hard wind and driving rain during this camping trip & we only had 2 drips. #1 was because I didn't tie down the rain fly on the ends & water pooled in the rainfly. Even with that there were only a few drips of water, where you would have a puddle with other tents. #2 was because of the driving rain; the water was blowing sideways and got caught in the screen from the front windows. It ran down and pooled at the junction of the window cover and the tent. Even then, there were only a drop or 2 of water on the floor & it was HEAVY RAIN!!The ONLY Complaints I currently have about this tent are: #1 There was only 1 wall included in the package. This did not affect our trip & I've contacted the company. #2 The tent bag is flimsy & definitely not the quality I would expect for a tent of this price. If I pay $300+ for a tent, the tent AND the bag better be excellent quality. This tent bag is flimsy & is not made to last. -- Luckily, this tent fits in our old tent bag, which has wheels, hard bottom & is made of canvas material ... THAT's the quality I expect for the price I paid!We have several more camping trips planned for the summer & I look forward to using this tent again & again & again!

Family of 4 (including 2 teenage sons) using 4 twin-sized air mattresses. Finally! Something roomy! We've cracked the REAL person-capacity code for tents: 4-person = 2 people, roomy.. 8-person = 4 people, tight, minimal gear.. 12-person = 4 people, roomy, walking space, staging space. Look at the tent capacity image.. IT'S 12 OOMPA-LOOMPAS!! No way you can have 12 normal-sized humans in that thing unless everyone's in a sleeping bag and packed in like a dozen tamales. No way.Very sturdy. The frame alone is very sturdy. Set up is relatively quick.. 2 competent adults might do it.. easier with 3, really 4 competent adults otherwise you could damage the structure or tent fabrics by letting one end plummet or apply awkward pressures to the structural roof supports' joints. Kind of an important thing if you plan on using it more than once.. Once the guy wires were staked in the ground, there was no doubt this tent's sturdiness.ABOUT STAKES.. Get some new ones. Unless you're camping in your perfectly groomed backyard, the short smooth chrome stakes are worthless. Found that out real quick when we set-up at the campsite. The tent area was a elevated platform area with a very fine gravel mix-- perfect for drainage, not perfect for those cheap stakes. Luckily, the campsite's registration building had tent supplies, and I bought those chunky, yellow stakes. Bought enough to stake the tent and each guy wire. They have stakes that screw in, some super gnarly ones-- those we're my next (more expensive option), but the yellow ones did absolutely PERFECTLY! Knocked them in with my mini-sledge with ease.. both wet gravel and wet dirt/grass/rooted surfaces.NOT A COLD WEATHER TENT OR BLOWING RAIN TENT!! HEAT RISES, COLD FALLS. Didn't notice it in the pics, but the entire roof system is bug netting screen material. Perfect for keeping bugs out and summer/ spring camping. Cold wind? Not so much. I could almost see the cold air come into the tent like 'Final Destination'.... Plus, we had blowing cold rain one night.. not fun as it blew under the tent's rain fly. Our propane heater could barely keep up as all the warm output was going right out the top of the tent.BOTTOMLINE: Roomy tent. Pretty easy set-up. Sturdy as heck. Not for cold camping. Rain fly needs improvement especially at the large entry points into the tent. Stakes suck.

Being as big as my living room it fits all my needs, plenty of windows for ventilation and zippered doors on both front and back of tent. I set it up BY MYSELF in 45 minutes and a good portion of that was unpacking it from box it came in. It rained/stormed 2 days out of the 4 we camped and the only water inside of tent was from me forgetting to close zipper across bottom of door and that was only minimal. This tent is perfect for a family of 4-6 and an absolute gem for myself and my SO and our gear. I'm looking forward to many more camp trips in our future!

I’m 70 and have been camping since I was 7. I bought this tent because of its size. We had two huge high wind rainstorms the week we camped and it stayed dry. Put your stakes in so the bottom points toward your tent. They do hold. We use a rubber mallet and hammer them all the way in! After the first rain storm we went around and retightened the strings that hold the fly on. I’ve never owned a tent that kept us dry in this big a storm before. We loved the ease of the window flaps. They fit right into a pocket at the bottom designed to hold them. It took my husband and I 90 minutes to put up the tent straight out of the box. The directions are easy to follow. In some soils you might need to buy the yellow plastic or the metal stakes. But in the West Virginia mountains the “wire” ones worked great.
Easy to assemble, sturdy, and water resistant! Camped in snow/rain/wind and did great.

This tent is very spacious. The only time you have to duck your head is to go in or out of the tent. This tent is well made and water proof. It rained and we had absolutely no water in the tent. The material is high quality. The only negative about this tent is the storage bag that the tent is stored in. It is flimsy material and cheap. But I can deal with that. We purchased duffel bag. Awesome tent. It is the best tent I have ever bought. Worth the money. Thanks Core for making such a great tent.

Super happy with the tent. It’s cozy and feels like a little living room out in the wilderness. First time in last weekend and we were caught in a good ol Texas thunder storm and it held up amazingly, not a single drop of water.

I read ever single review for this tent before I purchased it.It arrived in the box, unharmed and contained all parts. It also arrived quickly.Because of the many negative reviews stating it was hard to assemble, my husband and I took it out back and followed every step exactly as it was written and read each step twice to make sure we got it right. We had it up in 20 minutes. No issues AT ALL. Color coding makes it super easy. We took it back down in reverse, of course, and carefully. We folded it back up and it all easily fit back into the bag it came in.We have camped 3 times so far this year and have been extremely happy with it.It's HUGE and fits 4 queen mattressess and, after those, there's room on the floor for dogs and gear and probably a sleeping mat.I love the big doors and windows and when opposing are open you can actually get a cross breeze going in there. It has rained on us 3 times. Two downpours and one moderate rain. Not a drop of water anywhere in the tent, so far. I will update if that happens. What you must do is stake down the rain fly completely on both ends to avoid pooling of water during a rain.Wind blew pretty good a couple of times, but the tent held up well with no issues. We can all stand up and walk inside. Husband is 6'2" and has lots of clearance. What I like so much is the size and knowing that if the weather turned ugly, we could stand the mattresses on their sides and put a table and chairs in it and remain dry and quite comfortable. Each time we put it up and down a bit quicker than the last.I could live in this thing indefinitely if it came with a shower. The zippers work great.Nary a bug inside. We are so pleased with this purchase and hope it continues to be a source of shelter and joy for years to come. I must also add that we take care of our things because our money doesn't grow on trees. We don't let the kids go in and out constantly and we showed them how to take care and use the zippers properly. Also, there is a warning NOT to spray the tent with water repellent, so we will heed that advive.Looking very forward to taking "Big Orange " to the western tip of the UP this month.

We used this tent for the first time over the weekend. During our trip is rained off and on almost every day. One night it was a down pour. Nothing inside our tent got wet at all. It gave us plenty of room for our family of four and our large dog. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this tent.

Recieved the tent 5 days early, which was a plus. Started to set it up, there was an issue with one of the black roof poles. Contacted Core equipment, got the matter settled within in 1 day. They are shipping me a new pole. Will update when it arrives. We where able to use a temporary pole to finish the first set up. The tent is large. I'm 5'11" and only my finger tips can touch the ceiling in the center. My family and I are looking forward to using this for a weekend end trip the end of June.

I wish I would of taken a picture of it but my daughters and I loved our new tent. When we were camping and I was sitting at my mothers camp site across the way, I kept seeing people walk by and stop in front of my camp site, talking about how big my tent was and how nice it was. My family joked that it was big enough to keep our kayaks in, which it really was but we kept 2 large totes, 3 river tubes along with all three of our air mattresses in and still had plenty of room. I def. recommend this tent to everyone!

This tent is absolutely AMAZING!!!! It’s HUGE, and super easy to put together. I was thoroughly surprised at how easily this tent went up! I just KNEW it was going to take HOURS. But the directions were simple, straight-to-the-point, and were actually SEWN into the bag where you store the tent! And there were only about 10 rods that had to be slid into the little slots to hold the tent up.Honestly, this tent has been everything we imagined and more. It is extremely spacious! And it’s extremely well-built. We got it to camp out in our backyard until our girls are old enough for camping at an actual campground (We have a 6 yr old, 2 yr old, and 5 month old).We have loved every part of this tent! Since we purchased it in early September, we have slept in it in our backyard (It's October, now a month later). We have a 32” TV, a nightstand, a tall rotating fan, a short power fan, a diaper genie, a 3-prong-indoor-lamp, a twin-size inflatable bed, a queen-size inflatable bed, 2 full size beanie bags…and now a new space heater…all with PLENTY of extra space to spare. We absolutely recommend this tent to anyone looking for a high-quality, family-sized tent. Please check out our photos and videos attached.

Unfortunately I had a camping trip planned with 6 of us and I'm the only one that showed up! This tent is HUGE especially for one person. If you're persistent and determined you can set this up on your own. Yes it took me about 2 1/2 hours to set up in the rain but I did it! I can bet I can cut that time in half the next time!I definitely recommend using the directions that are sewn into the bag instead of the quick setup card included in the bag. When putting on the rainfall the mini awning goes toward the double door not the D shaped door. 😆I did have fun turning the rainfly by myself the next day though! Weee!!!I had a queen sized air mattress cot in this tent and truly believe I could've had three more in this tent with no issues and have room still. There is a room divider included with the tent that has a zipper to be able to access to other area. I didn't use it or even attempt to install it though so I can't say anything as to its ease of installation.Ot rained two days straight and also a thunderstorm with heavy rain and wind. No water inside or ground water seepage.I would purchase this tent again but hopefully I won't need to anytime soon!

Amazing, roomy tent! We were able to fit 2 large queen air mattresses, baby crib, xl large dog cage and all our gear. There was definitely plenty of room to fit 4 queen air mattresses if we had wanted to. It took my husband about 20 minutes to set up alone and in the dark, but I am positive we could have done it in half the time had my hands not been full from watching over our kids at the time. We even used the provided room divider as a backdrop for the movie we displayed on our projector. Overall, great quality and size.
