I have ordered many of the packable light weight backpacks, and this one is the winner. Why? Look at the side supporting straps (others omit it), look at the shoulder straps, they are thicker and more comfortable, and lastly it DOES have a laptop slot inside - something no other has. Yeah, U will need a sleeve to keep the laptop protected, but everyone has one of them don't they? Also the stiching looked more secure than others (jsut guessing on that one though).

I'll start by saying, overall, I'm pretty pleased with this little back pack. I bought it to use on my motorcycle, and it's definitely light weight. I'm withholding that fifth start because it's a tad smaller than an average back pack and the little flap of fabric that covers the zipper gets caught in the zipper almost every single time. I have to take an extra second to diligently fold it back before zipping it open or close. It does get caught but it hasn't ripped or torn. Smaller than typical book bags, yes, but it made it home from the grocery store with half a gallon of milk, a box of cereal, a large bag of frozen sausage biscuits, and most importantly, a large bottle of wine! It's exactly the color of orange I expected and all the little pockets are excellent for keeping all my loose stuff. I'd recommend and buy again.

Worked perfectly as a daypack - actually it's well designed and well thought out. Nice amount of pockets for easy access, two bottle holders that held my Nygene bottles well. Comfortable shoulder straps. Nice orange color for hunting trips.

I took this on a trip to Europe for day trips and hiking and it worked great. Not the most sturdy or comfy in the shoulders for long periods with heavy loads, but for the price it's perfect for day trips or traveling.

Don't waste your money on this backpack. I bought this for a family vacation and after just seven days of use the inside pockets are ripping and the lining is shedding and spreading a sticky weird film onto the contents inside. Also, the zippers keep getting caught in the outside fabric. Annoying. Cheaply made.

**Update** I took this on a vacation trip to Alaska where it rained sometimes. This bag was awesome and met all my needs on that trip. Love it even more now.=============================I have a lot of backpacks, but most are not waterproof. Sure, I could spray the material with a water repellent, but that isn't the same as being out in the rain for an hour and wanting your stuff dry.Pic #1 = the entire backpack comes folded up into this small, purse-sized package. I need more practice to get it folded up like that again, but it is possible.Pic #2 = The backpack laid out, gives us:+ two side pockets+ top small pocket+ bottom / rear medium size pocket. Inside the medium pocket we have a zippered area to store additional loose items.+ central large pocket.Pic #3 = Simply showing the size of the unfolded backpack is very close to the size of my normal school/work/laptop bag.Pic #4 = I have a laptop and a large binder in here so far. No, there is no padding for your laptop!! It isn't that kind of bag and it's not meant to be.Pic #5 = another look at the small, pocket. It is about half my hand deep. Large enough for a wallet and/or a phone.Pic #6 = LOTS of room!+ 15-inch laptop+ Large notebook+ 10-inch tablet+ a second 8-inch tablet+ two small boxes (white and tan)FINAL THOUGHTS:+ portable...easy to carry this bag inside a bag+ If it rains, your stuff will stay dry. . .but. . .don't drop your backpack in the lake and expect it to stay waterproof throughout.> Zipping and unzipping I'm constantly getting the zippers caught on material. I don't think there is much that can be done about this, other than I need to be more careful.+ Nice and visible bag+ I really like the color!+ stitching seems to be holding well for how much I'm stuffing this with heavy items+ cost is totally reasonable for $17 at the time of this writing.Worth checking out!

I'll start by saying, overall, I'm pretty pleased with this little back pack. I bought it to use on my motorcycle, and it's definitely light weight.
