Easy assemble and take down. It's durable and not that big to carry around.
However, this tent has served its purpose and has served me well and I intend to buy a new and lightweight tent for the Spring of 2021 - right now I'm considering a Nemo Hornet.
It has formed a couple very small rips in the floor after all the regular use it’s gotten but they were easily patched with the proper tape.
Otherwise this tent has been amazing.
It sets up fast and is very light.
It can be packed down into a small sized compress bag (minus poles).
Has fit two grown men comfortably.
Fits 1 with a camping cot perfectly.
Nice open breathable concept with easy to use cover system.
Poles are awesome snap together no problem even after years of regular use. And hook system makes setup 1min task.
Overall I Shen used this companies tent and cot and both are top notch products.
The aluminum poles look amazing and has not taken any bends or warping. But I am more than gentle with them and never had any incident that would cause unnecessary damage. It goes up easy but suspending points on the tent on the poles instead of threading the poles into the frame of the tent.
My tent has gone through fair use in non-winter seasons and fared well. Its been rained on with no issues thanks to the rainfly. The floor has been fine but that is also due to the Tyvek footprint (not included) that I lay it down on. As bells and whistles go, its all pretty standard inside. If it matters, there is no opening for access cords or anything like that. It has two small pouches and a hanging hammock attic up top (on the small side)
UPDATE: Just got back from a 4 day camping trip with this tent. It worked without a hitch, nice ventilation but it does get warm inside during the day (I've never had a tent that stayed super cool though). The zippers worked well, very little snagging. Set up was super fast and breakdown just as quick. The gear loft came in real handy, I could put everything I had in my pockets up there for quick access. I would recommend buying a tarp to put as a footprint underneath, I can see the floor getting raggedy if set up on hard soil or rocks. The vestibules worked nicely for keeping shoes outside, but keep them dry. Plenty of space for a single air mattress and all your gear. This is exactly what I was looking for. I would buy this again, but would probably try to find a better priced substitute before I pull the trigger. I can see this lasting for a long time and will get many uses out of it!
